More than 328,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs are being recalled because improperly installed rear coil springs could detach while the vehicle is moving—and some owners who already brought their Jeeps in for an earlier recall will need another repair. Chrysler, formerly FCA US LLC, is recalling 328,381 vehicles under NHTSA campaign number 26V562000. The manufacturer refers to the new campaign as recall 89D. The recall covers certain Jeep Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, and Grand Cherokee 4xe vehicles from the 2021 through 2023 model years.
