Jean-Philippe Gbamin's agent has confirmed that he will not be playing for Everton next season.
Gbamin joined Everton for £25 million from German side Mainz in the summer of 2019. He was one of six signings made by the Goodison Park club during that summer transfer window.
However, a series of injuries have restricted the midfielder to making just eight appearances since his move to Merseyside more than three years ago. Gbamin spent the second half of last season on loan at CSKA Moscow, where he made 13 appearances.

The Ivory Coast international then joined Trabzonspor on-loan for the rest of the campaign in late August. He has so far made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish side, and although he has one more year remaining on his deal with the Blues, his agent, Bernard Collignon, has revealed his agent won't be returning to Everton.
“After a loan spell at Trabzonspor in Turkey, Gbamin still has a year left on his contract with Everton, but the player will not return to the English club,” he told Sport24.
“Continuing your career in Russia? Everything is possible. In the summer, we’ll see if there will be interest from the RPL.”
