JD Vance continues to try and tell other nations what to do as he is now claiming that the United Kingdom and France being in possession of nuclear weapons pose a threat to the national security of the United States.
According to the Vice President, if France and the U.K. allow themselves to be “overwhelmed with destructive moral ideas” then the nuclear weapons held by both countries would be allowed to fall into the hands of people who may actually pose a threat to America.
Vance, who is a known conspiracy theorist, claimed that the threat from the U.K. and France was actually larger than that of countries that are actively antagonistic to America. Speaking to an organization called the “Unherd,” the VP explained that it wasn’t “inconceivable” that someone with “islamist-adjacent” views to have “significant influence” over politics in European countries in the not-so-distant future, and that these individuals may decide to turn their weapon arsenal against the U.S.
JD Vance has declared that France and the United Kingdom having nuclear weapons is a security threat to the United States.

Russia and MAGA want every remaining democracy in the world to be weakened and defenseless. pic.twitter.com/6mQ7QVhJZH
JD Vance’s logic never ceases to confuse us. It all sounds a little far-fetched and a lot like fear-mongering but Vance is no stranger to sharing wild theories with little to no evidence to support his claims, (he is MAGA after all).
Has JD Vance lost the plot?
This strange rant sounds ridiculous to anyone with critical thinking skills but it seems the VP is genuinely concerned about this apparent threat, apparently living in his own bubble world where someone who’s not Christian and in a position of power would instantly use that power against his country. It almost makes you feel sorry for him, to be that paranoid and frightened of anyone who isn’t white and such a crazy and unlikely scenario.
Back on planet earth, most people agree that the real threats to national security for the U.S. are more likely to come from the likes of Russia or North Korea. However, it seems Vance has an anti-Muslim agenda to push regardless of facts or logic.
On X, many were disturbed by Vance’s comments, “The Trump administration are just full blown nazis with in clownsuits.” One wrote, “Vance is the worst kind of isolationalist, and can’t figure out who are friends and who are enemies.” added another.
It seems the VP is pushing a volatile rhetoric that could see America push away the few allies it has left. Is he trying to weaponize fear to angle for nuclear disarmament of the U.K. and France? Some believe so. Vance seems convinced that these countries will be majority Muslim in as little as five years, but “absolutely” in 15. His rhetoric seems reminiscent of the “Great Replacement” theory, a debunked, far-right conspiracy, which has no evidence to support it.
