JD Vance Criticizes Kamala Harris And Emphasizes 'Big Tent' Support

Kamala Harris speaks at Culinary Workers Union

During his campaign stop in Atlanta, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance emphasized the ties between Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration. Vance criticized Harris for not taking action on the promises she makes when speaking with a teleprompter, questioning why she hasn't implemented those plans already.

Vance highlighted the diversity within the Republican Party, referring to it as a 'big tent.' He mentioned Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and former US Ambassador Nikki Haley as examples of the party's inclusivity. Despite reports of Haley potentially joining former President Donald Trump on the campaign trail, she did not make an appearance.

Vance emphasized the broad spectrum of ideologies within the Republican Party, mentioning figures from both the right and left, such as Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy. He stressed that the party is not simply divided into red and blue teams, but rather represents a wide range of perspectives.

Although Governor Kemp is supporting Trump, it was noted that he did not vote for Trump in the Republican primary. Additionally, Kemp declined to call a special legislative session to assist Trump in his efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.
