JD Sports' landmark headquarters with space for 2,000 staff tipped for green light

Proposals for a landmark new headquarters for JD Sports in Greater Manchester have been recommended for approval.

Up to 2,000 employees could be based at the new site, earmarked for land in Hollins Brook Way, Pilsworth, if the go-ahead is granted by next week.

Members of Bury Council's planning committee will vote on the proposals, which were submitted last year, at a meeting on Tuesday, February 21. If backed, it would also include a gym and a restaurant as well as a creche building and outdoor sports facilities.
