Much ado has been made about some of star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown’s recent comments in a pair of interviews. The comments about how happy is with the Celtics organization have left fans and analysts trying to read between the lines of what the Georgia native said.
Saying things like, “We’ll see how they feel about me over time and I feel about them over time,” is not all that alarming in the context of Brown’s interview with the Ringer’s Logan Murdock, especially when followed up with words like “Hopefully, whatever it is, it makes sense.”
That the former Cal-Berkeley standout threw in that he will stay where he’s “needed and treated correct” seems the sort of thing that has people up in arms, but how do his teammates feel about the interviews?
Bobby Manning of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast recently made his way to Auerbach Center to get an earful of how Brown’s teammates reacted to the furor over Brown’s words.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
