Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was absent from practice on Wednesday due to a rib injury, raising concerns about his availability for the upcoming game against the Chicago Bears. Daniels, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 draft and the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, sustained the injury during a recent victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Coach Dan Quinn described Daniels' status as 'week to week' and stated that the young quarterback will undergo treatment and evaluation to determine his readiness to return to the field. Daniels' participation in Thursday's practice remains uncertain, with the team closely monitoring his progress.
