Now that all of your favorite former Ohio State football players from last season have either been drafted or signed undrafted free agent contracts, the watch is on to see when those selected in the 2023 NFL draft sign their rookie deals with the teams they are married to.
On that note, former Buckeye star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njiba signed his first NFL contract with the Seattle Seahawks, according to sources close to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsDetails of the contract were not immediately known, but based on a sliding scale and estimates from Spotrac, the deal should be in the neighborhood of four years for $14.4 million with about half of that guaranteed as a signing bonus.

Smith-Njigba is the second OSU rookie to get things out of the way on paper, joining Paris Johnson Jr. Both can focus their attention on making their marks on the field with their new teams.
