An incredible video shows how hundreds of visitors arrive at Edinburgh Waverley station ready to take advantage of what the city has to offer during the first week of the Fringe.
Network Rail Scotland took to Twitter to share the fantastic fast-forwarded video that shows masses of visitors descending their Edinburgh-bound train that arrived at platform 12 on what seems to be a warm and sunny day.
The company that owns, operates and develops Britain's railway infrastructure said that over the first week of the event - from August 5 to August 11 - 806,136 people travelled through Waverley.

The number nearly doubled compared to the last year's digits - 446,936 during the same week in 2021.
Chris King, Interim Station Manager at Network Rail, said: "We're very proud to be playing an essential part in the city hosting the highly-anticipated 75th anniversary of the Edinburgh Festival.
"We saw huge numbers passing through Waverley during the first week and expect that to continue over the coming weeks. Trains will be very busy, so passengers are advised to plan their journeys before travelling.
"We wish everyone travelling to and from the festival a safe and pleasant journey."
August is one of the busiest months in Edinburgh, thanks to several exciting festivals that take place during the last summer month - with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe being the most famous of them all. The festival will run until August 29.
