Javi Gracia says Leeds United's key leaders set an example through their actions on and off the pitch amid questions that his side lack a vocal presence on the pitch.
Leeds capitulated during the second half against Crystal Palace, which saw them concede four goals in a humiliating 5-1 defeat in front of their own supporters at Elland Road.
Captain Luke Ayling came under heavy criticism for his performance, while the likes of Robin Koch, Jack Harrison, and Patrick Bamford failed to stand up and be counted for.

The Whites dropped to within two points of the drop zone following their horror show against the Eagles, but Gracia believes the attitude and mentality in the camp remains strong.
"You never know because sometimes the leaders don't speak too much but they do. And from their example say much more than others who speak a lot," Gracia observed.
"I think we have good players, which in my opinion is the most important thing. Good players, good attitude and a good mentality is what we need in this moment of the competition."
Leeds will be looking to produce a strong response to that defeat when they welcome Liverpool to Elland Road on Monday night.
The Whites won the reverse fixture under Jesse Marsch in October courtesy of Crysencio Summerville's dramatic late winner at Anfield.
