Jason Peters is coming home, and he’ll be playing for the other side when the Dallas Cowboys head to Lincoln Financial Field for a Sunday night showdown.
Peters missed the Cowboys’ win over the Los Angeles Rams, but he’s had a surge in health and proclaimed himself ready to go at practice on Wednesday.
When meeting with the media, Peters was asked about the Philadelphia fan base and their approach to NFL’s most intense rivalry.
The future Hall of Famer said, “Philly fans pride themselves on being nasty,” referring to the intense views that come with Dallas week.
Jason Peters on Cowboys/Eagles rivalry, dislike between fanbases: “I just know Philly fans are f**kin idiots when it comes to the camaraderie and the Cowboys, any team, really. … They know that. They pride themselves on being nasty. Philly fans are the wildest fans out there.”

The Cowboys signed the veteran offensive lineman after starting left tackle Tyron Smith had surgery to repair a torn hamstring.
A veteran who spent 12 years with Philadelphia, Peters had played 35 snaps at left guard as part of the rotation in Dallas before suffering his injury.
