Jason Knight is expected to depart Derby County when his contract expires this summer as Paul Warne's side narrowly missed out on the playoffs.
The Rams finished 7th in League One following their 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday which cemented their status in the third tier for next season.
Interest is only set to grow in Knight with his contract expiring, as Premier League and Championship clubs keep tabs on the Dubliner.
Overall, the midfielder would be at risk of losing his place in Stephen Kenny's side if he was to play another season in League One.
Knight signed from Cabinteely in 2017, who went on to make 166 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and creating seven assists.

Fellow Irishmen Conor Hourihane, David McGoldrick, James Collins and Eiran Cashin also apply their trade for the Rams and were bitterly disappointed with their 7th place finish.
Corkman Hourihane weighed in on Derby's disappointing end to the campaign and noted the club "shouldn’t be in this league."
“We have played well in patches this season, but if I am being brutally honest, we threw it away a bit,” said Hourihane.
"Over the course of the last few months, we had a good few chances to cement that playoff place and it went down to the last day, but it wasn’t to be.
"Whoever is fortunate to be here next year, we need to be ready, the size of this club and the demands that the fans have, we shouldn’t be in this league, but we are.”
