The 49ers went into Philadelphia last Sunday and blew out the Eagles, 42-19, in a physical, and at times chippy, game between two of the best teams in the NFL.
One heated moment in the fourth quarter led to two ejections, as 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and Eagles chief security officer and senior advisor to the general manager Dom DiSandro were tossed after they both made contact with each other during a brief sideline scuffle.
Eagles center Jason Kelce addressed the moment during this week’s New Heights podcast, as he defended DiSandro and also said Greenlaw (who Kelce praised for being a very good player) should have just gotten a personal foul called against him and not been ejected.

"Dom is not the first person—coach, strength coach, staff member—that has separated people on a sideline who are getting in each other’s faces,” Kelce said. "Nobody wanted anything to happen. I know Dom, and I trust that what he was trying to do was defuse the situation. When people are on the sideline, people are getting together, people try to separate them. I don’t think it’s a huge deal either way."

He added: "But I always love when Big Dom is getting air time, even though this might not be one of the best reasons to. He just means so much to our organization and is a guy that a lot of players love."
The 49ers might feel a little differently, but good on Kelce for sharing his thoughts on it.
