Jason Kelce was apparently feeling left out by all of the Batmans on the Philadelphia Eagles.
The team’s top wideouts earned the nickname from cornerback Darius Slay back in September, when the Eagles were just 2-0 and their current standing as the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team was a mere pipe dream.
A.J. Brown was swole Batman. Devonta Smith was skinny Batman. Quez Watkins was fast Batman.
“No Robins. We’ve ain’t got no sidekicks,” Slay said at the time.
In the following weeks, the group got a cape to take the bit to the next level. But Kelce, who fancies himself as a Batman too, told brother Travis on their podcast last week he wanted the cape.
“Listen, if we score on a screen, I’m getting that cape and I’m being fat Batman,” Kelce said.

Well, that screen never came for Kelce in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But there were plenty of touchdowns to go around in the 35-13 blowout, including three for swole Batman. So instead of the cape, Kelce had to settle for Batman’s mask.
He broke it out on the sideline while the game was still going on, and it was the perfect prop for the Sunday before Halloween.

The Eagles are now 7-0, and this is just another example of how fun they are. Their odds to win the Super Bowl are up to +550 at BetMGM, second only to the Bills at +230.
