Jason Cundy brands Celtic and Rangers 'fourth tier' in Champions League take down as he trolls Scottish football

Loudmouth Jason Cundy has taken aim at Scottish football once again after Celtic were thumped by Real Madrid in their Champions League finale.

It was a bruising night for the Scottish Premiership champions in Europe as Los Blancos ran out 5-1 winners in the last group stage game, leaving Celtic rooted to the bottom of the section. Ange Postecoglou took his side to the Bernabeu knowing that they would not have any chance of continuing their European adventure into the Champions League or Europa League knockout rounds.

The hammering comes just 24 hours after Rangers rounded off their campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Ajax, which condemned the Light Blues to the worst ever performance in the group stage campaign after heavy defeats to Napoli, Liverpool and the Dutch champions. Elsewhere, Hearts will round off their Europa Conference League campaign with no chance of reaching the knockout stage before their final game against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Gleeful Cundy had trolled Rangers on talkSPORT after they had claimed the "worst ever" tag, and continued to take aim at Celtic after the Real demolition. He started his rant by asking: "Has seen any Celtic in Europe? An absolute disgrace.

"Has anyone seen Postecoglou? Has anyone seen Alan Brazil or Rod Stewart?

"Has anyone seen Hearts? Has anyone seen Scottish football? It's a disgrace. Bang average! My word."

The former Chelsea star then narrowed in on the Glasgow giants Champions League exploits: "It's not even Halloween and you lot are out! I'm thinking do you know what, there's no reason why these Scottish sides can't do something.

"Then all of a sudden you realise, actually, they are miles off it. They're not even close. They are fourth tier.

"They've got two points from eight games. What more evidence do you need, seriously, what more evidence do you need?

"And you're right, money makes a difference but the reality is that Scottish football is light-years behind."
