A British sociologist who resigned from the University of Cambridge last week amid weeks of plagiarism allegations and intense media scrutiny was found dead in south London on Friday.
Jason Arday, who became Cambridge’s youngest Black professor in 2023 at the age of 37, stepped down from his role after facing sustained public scrutiny over allegations concerning his academic work, as well as questions about claims related to his athletic achievements and fundraising.
