LOS ANGELES -- Two Japanese classical musicians won Grammys at the 64th Grammy Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
Mezzo-soprano Mihoko Fujimura was recognized for her solo work on Mahler's Symphony No. 8 "Symphony Of A Thousand," in the Best Choral Performance category.
Cellist Eru Matsumoto was rewarded for her contribution to "Mythologies," in the Best Classical Solo Vocal Album category.
