A spacecraft is due to lift off from Japan on Tuesday on the world's first mission to bring back samples from Phobos, one of the two small, potato-shaped moons orbiting Mars.
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, or JAXA, will send the probe up on its new mainstay H-3 rocket.
