Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor might have had an easier time than others in the industry. However, the actress has had her share of struggles. In a recent interview, she opened up about people constantly questioning her acting skills on the internet just because she is a star kid.
Janhvi said that she is prioritising hard work and she has always been very clear about her goals in life. According to her, she wishes to live up to her late mother’s legacy. The actress also clarified that this doesn’t come from a place of arrogance, but a desire to want to give back to her parents, as well as the audiences. Janhvi also went on to say that while she might have gotten certain opportunities more easily, she also feels like she is at a disadvantage. In that sense, people aren’t going to come and watch her films from a neutral perspective. So she has to convince them that she has something to offer. She added that she loves cinema, and she is not apologetic about it anymore, because she knows she is good at what she does. She is just warming up, Janhvi told Harper's Bazaar.
