Janey Godley took to social media to thank fans for their support as her 'Not Dead Yet' tour came to a close.
The 62-year-old funny woman decided that despite undergoing gruelling chemotherapy sessions to battle her ovarian cancer, she wanted to go back on tour 'one last time' and organised a 27-date run - which has been a roaring success with all dates sold out.
Her daughter Ashley accompanied her on the tour.
Janey posted a video where she said: "So that's us finished the tour - we did it! I don't know how many dates Ashley and I done in London but we are heading home back to Glasgow today! I want to thank every single person who bought every single seat at every single theatre on this tour."
She added: "The bags are packed and we are good to go. Thanks everybody online who sent their support and kept us afloat!"
She then blew a kiss to the camera and said to her daughter: "We're heading home Ashley, we're done! Woo woo."
Just last week, Janey revealed that it was fellow comedian Jimmy Carr who convinced her to go on tour following her diagnosis.
Janey announced she was cancer-free last summer, but within months the disease had returned. The Glasgow-born comedian told The Independent that she instructed her agent to cancel her tour after receiving the bad news.
However, 8 Out Of 10 Cats star Jimmy convinced her to go back on the road. She told the publication: “I was telling him, ‘I need to cancel the tour’ and he’s like, ‘Why?’”
“He went, ‘Let’s be honest, you being weak on stage is usually quite a little funnier than most people who are alright… Is your mouth still working?’ I went, ‘Yeah.’ He went, ‘Get on tour.’ And I thought, OK," she said.
Janey revealed before the tour kicked off that it would be her last. She told Lorraine Kelly she was determined to go "out with a bang" and will keep fighting after confirming her cancer is "treatable but not curable".
