Janey Godley has shared a selfie to mark the halfway point of her chemotherapy treatment.
The brave Scots comic has shared her cancer journey online, and updated her fans as she undergoes treatment.
Back in December, Janey was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had a hysterectomy in January.
Following the major surgery, the 61-year-old was told that her cancer was now at stage 3b and she would need to get chemotherapy treatment.
Stage 3b means there are cancer growths 2cm or smaller in size on the lining of the abdomen and there may also be cancer in the lymph nodes.
And now as she is half way through her treatment, Janey took to Twitter to share a smiling selfie.
She wrote: "Good morning off to get bloods done ! Tomorrow is chemo number 4 - over HALF WAY."
And many of her fans sent messages of support.
One said: "Hope everything goes well. You are doing amazing."
Another wrote: "All the best Janey."
While one said: "Hope it goes well today and tomorrow! Keep crossing off those hurdles on the calendar. You’ve got this!"
Another wrote: "Best wishes, it will be your last chemo before you know it and you will be able to look back on this and smile because you got through it just like me."
Just last week, Janey joined forces with The Beatson Cancer Charity to raise awareness and urge others to make sure they get checked if they have any cancer symptoms.
She donned her yellow charity t-shirt and sat down to speak about her experience.
She said: "Go to your doctor, speak, mention these symptoms. Speak about ovarian cancer. Don't let it be the silent killer.
"I want to thank the Beatson and everybody there who are helping me with the chemotherapy. Hopefully I will beat this. There is more people living with cancer than dying with it and that's what I want to be - one of them."
