Janey Godley has shared a snap of an unlikely famous guest who attended her Dundee show on Thursday.
The Scots comedy star is currently in the middle of her 'Not Dead Yet' tour and has been travelling up and down the country to make audiences laugh. The 62-year-old posted a picture with TV presenting icon Davina McCall, who had been in the audience at the gig in Scotland with her partner Michael Douglas.
Janey captioned the photo on her Twitter: "What a great night thanks @ThisisDavina", alongside the snap of her and the 55-year-old Channel 4 presenter who was beaming alongside her.
Michael Douglas, 48, took to his own social media to share another picture of the couple with a cheery-looking Janey who we reported had just completed another round of her chemotherapy ahead of her performance.
The 48-year-old penned: "So fantastic to meet you @JaneyGodley can't wait for the show," as they got to chat to the comedian backstage before the show got underway.
Earlier that day ahead of her gig, Janey was teased by her daughter Ashley Storrie on social media as she posted a sly snap of her mum outside a patisserie in Dundee.
"Spotted @JaneyGodley who’s on a diet sulking outside a Dundee bakery," she wrote on Twitter alongside an image of her mum pictured in the corner with her jacket hood up walking past the bakery looking glum and seemingly unaware she was being photographed.
It comes as the Scottish comedian confirmed she was forced to "say goodbye" to her much-loved sweet treats in a bid to lose weight as she continues her cancer journey.
Janey confessed on Tuesday that she was giving up the jelly sweets and strawberry tarts as she was told by doctors that she "must lose weight".
The Scots comedian is currently taking on a UK comedy tour whilst still receiving chemotherapy in between shows. She confirmed to her fans the heartbreaking news in December that her cancer had returned despite getting the all-clear in June last year.
