Janey Godley shares hilarious 'caravan and Zumba' voiceover on Nicola Sturgeon's future plans

Her voice-overs kept us amused during even the bleakest of lockdown announcements and following the shocking news of Nicola Sturgeon's resignation, Janey Godley has struck gold once again.

The comedian shared her take on what the First Minister might get up to after she leaves the post in a hilarious clip shared on social media.

Opening what would become her resignation speech, 'Nicola' tells awaiting press "that's me resigned - at least I never got sacked. HA-HA Tories.

"People have been asking what I'm going to do with my spare time well you know how you've seen cruising with Jane McDonald, well I've decided tae dae caravaning with Nicola Sturgeon.

"It'll be brilliant. We'll head to all the high spots like Largs and Arbroath. I love a caravan - it's a two-berth, sleeps nine."

As well as a potential reality show in the pipeline, the 'First Minister' says she's also going to take up "budgie-ing".

She adds: "I don't like dugs. I'm just going to take that up and start breeding budgies. Who knew that was a thing?

"An' see if that disnae work out I'm going to start a soup pot business and then we're going to start on the Pippa Dee and then me and aw the Sandra's, aw the Deborah's and big Katherine's are going to start a Zumba group. At the end of the day there are lots for me to be getting on with."

And in classic last-day style, 'Nicola' gives a final call for people to sign her leaver's shirt shouting "everybody get yer sharpies out!" before a parting statement of "Frank, get the door!"
