Janey Godley has told fans she fears her cancer has spread.
Janey was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in November and underwent a hysterectomy to try and rid her body of the disease.
Following the operation she was told the cancer had advanced to stage 3b, meaning it had spread from her ovaries and would require further treatment including chemotherapy.
Stage 3b means there are cancer growths 2cm or smaller in size on the lining of the abdomen and there may also be cancer in the lymph nodes.
Janey, who went viral with her Nicola Sturgeon voiceover videos during lockdown, had sought medical advice after experiencing bloating, frequent urination, back pain, and loss of appetite.
The comic talent and author admitted to her followers online today that she constantly fears her cancer has spread further, as she faced yet another sleepless night.
And she admitted she was in bad mental heath as she was overtired.
She told fans: "Not having a great morning, been in bed since 8pm last night, not really slept, mind racing, what if the cancer has spread?
"What if it’s not? What is going to happen next? It’s hard to be positive all the time, steroids post chemo treatment don’t help!
"Thanks for your support."
Janey underwent her fourth session of chemotherapy this week and admitted it was taking a toll on her.
