Jamie Theakston reflects on 'shock' cancer diagnosis two years on

Jamie Theakston has reflected on his ongoing recovery from laryngeal cancer, two years after receiving what he has described as a “shock” diagnosis.

The Heart Breakfast host, 55, revealed that he opted for surgery rather than chemotherapy after being diagnosed in August 2024, undergoing three operations that ultimately proved successful. However, he stressed that the experience is far from over, explaining that he remains under close medical supervision amid fears the cancer could return.
