Jamie Redknapp's shock call to mum he was marrying Louise in Bermuda days after proposal

Sandra Redknapp has recalled the moment her son Jamie phoned her up to tell her he was getting married in a week to Eternals singer Louise.

It was 1998 and the mother-of-two, 75, was in France with husband Harry, also 75, watching the World Cup when the phone rang.

In her joint memoir with Harry, When Harry Met Sandra, the former hairdresser recalled how Jamie, 49, announced he was going to tie the knot in Bermuda - with the date set three days after his proposal to Louise, 47.
