Jamie Oliver plans on fencing off his £6million mansion with towering metal gates to keep intruders out.
The dad-of-five wants to replace the existing wooden panels around his lavish manor house with the heavy duty ones and for them to be extended by 15 metres on either side.
Spains Hall, which features on his Channel 4 show, is where he lives with his family.
According to The Daily Star, the chef has submitted the plans for the "erection of secondary gates, associated piers, fencing and ancillary works” to Braintree District Council.
The 46-year-old splashed out on the 16th century country home in 2019 in the picturesque village in Essex.
Set on a 70-acre estate, the home also has a three bedroom lodge.
And of course the chef's kitchen is the heart of the home, with huge windows that allow the light to flood in.
There is a long wooden table for Jamie, his wife Jools, 47, and their children Poppy Honey Rosie, 20, Daisy Boo Pamela, 18, Petal Blossom Rainbow, 12, Buddy Bear Maurice, 11, and River Rocket Blue, five.
This comes after he revealed on Michael Mosely's new documentary 'Who Made Britain Fat' that he "felt threatened" by the food industry after he made Sugar Rush in 2015.
The celebrity hesitated after Dr Mosley asked him if he had felt menaced or threatened, before sharing that he had experienced several break ins during the five-month period that he was making his programme.
"Honestly, I have to be really careful what I say here," he replied.
"From the second I started producing Sugar Rush to the moment the sugar tax happened is the only time I have had in my life where there were multiple break-ins and people getting into our [digital] systems."
"The only time that has ever happened to me – let alone multiple times – was in that five-month period."
Jamie talked through a graph he had framed of childhood obesity rates, showing the disparity between poor and well-off children, which he said he put in the centre of the table for every discussion he had with Mr Cameron, to emphasise its impact.
