Jamie Oliver fans issue vow after £1 air fryer recipe that's 'better than any takeaway'

Jamie Oliver fans issued a vow after they were wowed by an air fryer recipe in tonight's £1 Wonders.

The popular chef returned for Monday's edition of the Channel 4 programme and showed viewers a new batch of family dishes they can make for under £1 per portion. On the latest episode, Jamie made delicious looking dishes including meatball kebabs and crispy pork noodles.

During the show, he was joined by fellow chef, Karan Gokani, who showed viewers how to make a cauliflower curry and coconut & onion roti. The delightful meal was made using an air fryer and cost 84p per portion.

Karan heaped praise on the dish as he said: "A humble vegetable turned into something so different. Just elevated and naturally budget friendly. You've got a dish that you can make at home in less than half an hour at less than a quid a portion that's better than any takeaway you're going to get at a fraction of the price when you're feeding a whole family."

The dish served four people and came to a combined total of £3.36.
