Jamie O'Hara delivers Rangers vs Celtic prediction as talkSPORT pundit singles out Ryan Kent

Jamie O'Hara reckons the relentless form of Rangers and Celtic will make tomorrow's Hampden showdown a 'brilliant' occasion as he picked his winner.

Michale Beale is yet to taste defeat at the Light Blues since taking over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst but despite the incredible run of form, his troops have been unable to make a dent in the nine point lead the Hoops have at the top of the Premiership. Ange Postecoglou and his champions have matched the Ibrox side stride for stride in that period which hasn't allowed them a sniff. Something will have to give at the national stadium as both sides battle it out to win the League Cup.

The Viaplay Cup Final is the first chance for one of the Old Firm to claim silverware this season and former Tottenham midfielder and talkSPORT pundit O'Hara reckons we are in for a classic in Mount Florida. He believes Ryan Kent will be the hero on derby day as he backed Beale and Co to defeat the holders after extra-time.

He told Grosvenor Sport: “It’s a huge game, massive game, everyone loves these games, and I think it’s probably the biggest rivalry in the world. Both teams are in really good form, Michael Beale’s gone in there, and Rangers are flying. Celtic are flying, no one has let up, and I think it’s going to be a brilliant game to watch.

“I think Michael Beale coming in when he has at Rangers, they’re a little too far behind to catch Celtic in the league, but next season the league title is going to be up for grabs for sure.

"I think Celtic win the league this season, but if Rangers can nick the Scottish League Cup Final, that says a lot about Michael Beale. If he comes straight in and wins a trophy… it’ll be interesting to see how the future pans out.

“I can’t wait to watch it, it’s a massive one, and I’m going to go with Rangers. Rangers to win it in extra-time, how about that? Ryan Kent scores, it will be 1-1, and then Ryan Kent bags the winner."
