Jamie Lee Curtis sparked some hilarious accidental concern for Ryan Tubridy after her Instagram tribute.
The 'Halloween' actress, who appeared on the Late Late Show back in October, shared a photo of herself and Ryan on Instagram this Sunday. Jamie commended Ryan for his abilities as a talk show host and said he would be missed.
The 64 year old wrote: "You will be missed! Thank you for the light you brought so many."

The well-meaning post quickly alarmed several of her five million followers. However, people were assured following a quick Google search that Ryan was very much alive.
One person admitted underneath the post: "I had to do a bit of research because I thought he passed away. But he's just no longer hosting a late night talk show. Even if I'm not familiar with the series or the host, this was still a lovely tribute to his time there."
Jamie Lee Curtis graced the Late Late Show last year while promoting the newest release of the 'Halloween' movie franchise. She expressed delight at her trip while on the sofa, describing Irish people as the "nicest on Earth."
The kind-hearted post was liked by Ryan on Instagram despite the confusion. While several people mistakenly assumed he had passed away, Irish fans thanked Jamie Lee Curtis for acknowledging the world's second longest running late night talk show.
One person added: "It's not on the global platform like many American late night shows but this weekly show was the source of entertainment for many an Irish family throughout the years."
Ryan will end his 14 year career as Late Late Show host this Friday. It was announced over the weekend that bookie's favourite Patrick Kielty would succeed the role in September.
