What Happened: The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has called on JPMorgan and Bank of America to provide documents concerning their involvement in the IPO of Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), a major supplier of batteries to global electric vehicle manufacturers, including Tesla Inc.
