Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has aimed a dig at Everton after another eventful day in the club's search for a new manager.
Vitor Pereira, believed to be among the candidates to replace Rafael Benitez at Goodison Park, spoke live on Sky Sports News on Wednesday evening, making a upfront play for the position.
The 53-year-old spoke about his style of play, the opposition to his potential arrival from fans and about the feedback he had received from his interview with the club.

The ECHO understands that while the Portuguese is among the options for the Toffees, talk that he is the front-runner is wide of the mark.
While Evertonians' toes were collectively curling as Pereira embarked on his public pitch, a former Blue was taking a shot on social media.
Carragher shared an image on Twitter of himself seemingly enjoying the drama with a bag of popcorn, with a photo of agent Kia Joorabchian - who was in the directors' box at Goodison against Aston Villa - added alongside.
It's not the first time the Reds legend has shared his thoughts on the Everton manager hunt, as he posted his bemusement at links to Fabio Cannavaro too.
Everton supporters have become increasingly concerned about the spectre of Joorabchian in L4, with banners at Tuesday night's display at the Liver Buildings pointing towards their dissatisfaction with the agent's influence.
Joorabchian is a well-known confidant of Moshiri and the agent is tied to a number of names linked with the Toffees, including Pereira.
It's been reported that the agent was key in Pereira joining 1860 Munich in 2016, where the coach lost 11 of his 20 games and oversaw their relegation to the third tier of German football.
