Jamie Carragher says Nottingham Forest fans may be "a little bit nervous" at the prospect of seeing Moussa Niakhate in the heart of defence from now until the end of the season.
The centre-back gave away a penalty as Newcastle United sealed a 2-1 victory at the City Ground last night when he handled a cross with just three minutes remaining.
Niakhate looked distraught after the incident and then had to watch as Alexander Isak rattled in from the spot after Emmanuel Dennis had given Forest the lead in the first half.

And Sky Sports pundit Carragher said he had concerns about Niakhate in the very early stages of the defeat which leaves the Reds two points clear of the relegation zone.
"When you are in the position Forest are in, a point against one of the top teams is a good point although it would have been a poor result for Newcastle.
"But you could see that with the substitutions with Neco Williams coming on at left-midfield who is normally a right-back. They were happy to take the point and they probably got it really.
"I wouldn't say Newcastle were running out of ideas but there was three minutes to go. To see a defender do that - I must say and I am not being clever after the event but watching Niakhate through the game, even in the first couple of minutes, you thought ooh.
"I know he hasn't played a lot and he is just getting used to it, but he just didn't look right. It makes you a little bit nervous as a Forest fan if he's going to be in the team from now until the end of the season."
