Liverpool have already bid farewell to one member of their iconic attacking trio this summer after Sadio Mane upped sticks to Bayern Munich, but there could well be another high-profile exit before the transfer window shuts.
Roberto Firmino had long been viewed as the player who would be the first to leave out of the three forwards - the other being Mohamed Salah - but Mane had other ideas. However, there is still a small chance the Brazilian international ends his Anfield stay in the coming weeks amid interest from Italian giants Juventus.
Exit talk surrounding Firmino is nothing new; Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher expressed his fear over the forward's future as far back as January of last year. "I must say I am worried for Firmino," the former England international told Sky Sports.
"He has never been seen as ‘the goal-scorer'. That is the responsibility of the other two [Mane and Salah], but he is there to chip in. I’m not just saying this season, I am going back to last season when Liverpool won the league. I was worried then, wondering could he turn it around.
"He is the one I am worried about more and if there is one to be phased out before the others, I probably think it would be Firmino. Sooner or later, that front three will have to be broken up."
While Carragher's prediction on Firmino being the first to leave was off the mark, his analysis of the Brazilian is correct - the former Hoffenheim man is hardly lethal in front of goal, scoring on average 10 goals in all competitions over the last two seasons.

With that being said, Firmino's stock is still fairly high, he hasn't suffered any kind of drastic drop in form and there are no glaring signs of an imminent major decline. As a result, there is an argument that this summer presents Reds boss Jurgen Klopp with the perfect time to part ways with the Brazil international.
Firmino will be 31 in early October and could find it difficult to maintain his standard and influence as he enters the twilight of his playing days. He also, quite crucially, has just one year left to run on his Liverpool contract - meaning he could potentially depart for nothing in 12 months time.
This is why Juventus' interest in Firmino presents such a difficult decision for Klopp. The Liverpool boss is very happy with the current crop he has at his disposal and an exit for an Anfield hero may necessitate the Reds entering the market for a new forward, having already added Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho this summer.
That could throw up another problem due to the fact the rumoured plan is for the Reds to tighten the purse strings for the rest of this window before going all out for Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham next summer.
