Jamie Carragher has penned a heart-warming tribute to his wife Nicola Hart on their 17th wedding anniversary.
The former Liverpool defender married his childhood sweetheart in 2005. According to the footballer's autobiography, Jamie had to ask Nicola to marry him twice after his first proposal went wrong when he got an incorrectly sized ring and a mis-wrapped present.
The couple have known one another since they were children and even went to primary school together. They share a daughter, Mia, and a son, James.
