Jamie Carragher has deemed Mikel Merino as Arsenal’s first-choice striker over summer signing Viktor Gyokeres.

Gyokeres, who joined the club back in July, has had a relatively slow start to his career at the Emirates Stadium, struggling with injury and scoring six goals in 19 games in all competitions.
