Jamie Carragher doesn't think Erling Haaland's arrival will take Manchester City to the next level such is their consistency.
The Premier League side announced the signing of the Norwegian, who will join from Borussia Dortmund in a £63m deal. Haaland was long expected to make a move this summer given a release clause in his contract became active, thus making his transfer more feasible.
City have won the race for his signature despite long standing interest from elsewhere having been on the lookout for a striker. They missed out on Harry Kane in the summer but have now added a No 9 to their ranks. Haaland has been prolific since bursting onto the scene and will give Pep Guardiola's side another dimension.
