Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison has sent his best wishes to Manchester City star Jack Grealish after their inclusions in the England World Cup squad.
Supporters had been crying out for Maddison to be included in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad following his brilliant form for the Foxes. Despite rumours on Thursday suggesting that he would be overlooked, the Three Lions head coach opted to include the 25-year-old.
One player who will also be on the plane to Qatar this winter is Grealish. The former Aston Villa man excelled on Wednesday night as City dispatched of Chelsea and England fans will be hoping that he replicates that form at the World Cup.

Taking to Instagram, Grealish issued a heartfelt message regarding his call-up. "Dream come true," the 27-year-old said.
"I’m just a kid from Solihull who’s going to a World Cup with England. I remember going into school early to watch England vs Brazil in 2002, my first ever World Cup I can remember… to think 20 years later I’d be playing at one blows my mind.
"It’s always an honour to pull on the England shirt and it’s a privilege to be going out there representing you all watching back home. Can’t wait to meet up with the boys on Monday.
"Hopefully together we can make you all proud again. Come on England."
Responding to the post, Maddison replied: "See you soon brother," along with a love heart emoji. The 2022 World Cup will be the first both men have played in.
Grealish was part of the England squad which reached the Euro 2020 Final while Maddison has not yet travelled to a major tournament.
