Rugby hunk James Haskell has nearly come under fire from his pregnant wife Chloe Madeley as he called her a 'huge sea cow' in her latest bikini snap.
The 36-year-old made the joke underneath his wife's Instagram photo - where she showed off her growing baby bump.
On her social media page, Chloe was seen under the water doing a peace sign to her followers.
She looked cheery in the photo, while her husband poked fun at her.
In the comments section, James joked: "Bloody hell you go snorkelling and the first thing you see is a huge sea cow doing a mating display!
"She appears to think I’m her partner. I didn’t know whether to harpoon it or feed it."
The 34-year-old personal trainer excitedly announced last month that she and husband James are expecting their first child, a baby girl, later this year.
Chloe - who is the daughter of TV icons Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan - said she first realised she wanted to start a family with James when the former rugby player was in the Australian jungle, taking part in the 2019 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
However, their path to parenthood wasn't straightforward as the pair struggled to conceive a child for over two years.
Chloe opened up about her difficult journey to motherhood during a recent interview with OK! Magazine where she showcased her blossoming bump.
During the honest chat, Chloe spoke about her fertility struggles, and said it was 'really complicated'.
She said they hadn’t been using contraception 'for months', and began to get worried early last year when she still wasn’t pregnant.
"We picked up the pace in terms of trying and that nervousness turned into utter fear. Like, ‘Hang on, I don’t want this option taken away from me,’” she explained.
“I woke up in the middle of the night and it hit me like a ton of bricks. And that pushed me into making a decision and that I absolutely wanted to have a family,” Chloe added.
The expectant mum revealed the pair visited a fertility clinic, and Chloe was given the all-clear by doctors.
However, she began to become worried when she still wasn’t pregnant after months of trying.
“I was getting to grips with the fact it might have to happen like that for me,” Chloe shared as she said her and James were looking at IVF as an option, or adoption.
Chloe revealed that she knows how lucky she is to haven fallen pregnant with the extra support.
But she admitted that it was a 'really sad few months' where she was 'scared' becoming a mother was out of reach for her.
Chloe discovered that she was pregnant with her first child two days after her dad, Richard, left his stint on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
