James Gunn has shared new insights into his upcoming Superman reboot, shedding light on a specific scene. The DCU film, previously titled Superman: Legacy, is currently in production. Gunn disclosed to the Norwegian media outlet Svalbardposten that they have filmed the initial scenes of the Superman movie, featuring David Corenswet's Man of Steel seeking refuge in his 'ice fortress.'
Gunn explained, 'We have filmed the first scenes, where Superman escapes to the ice fortress. We wanted a location that exuded beauty and the essence of the Arctic. After considering various places globally, Svalbard stood out for us. The natural splendor and diverse landscape unique to Svalbard were key factors in our decision.'
