James Garner's agent has provided a tongue-in-cheek response to ongoing transfer speculation surrounding the Manchester United midfielder. Garner shone on loan with Nottingham Forest last season as they won promotion back into the Premier League after 23 years away.
Garner, 21, was not even born when Forest were last in the top-flight. However, the England U21 midfielder was a top performer for Steve Cooper's side throughout the regular season and in the Championship play-offs.
United manager Erik ten Hag will take a look at Garner before making a decision on his immediate future. But that has not stopped the player from being linked with summer moves elsewhere.

Forest are understood to be keen on bringing Garner back to the City Ground on loan, while Everton are tracking the Academy graduate with regards to a permanent swoop. However, it appears as though those proposals have been shut down - at least for the time being - by his agent Steven Beck.
Garner is under contract at Old Trafford until 2024. He played 49 games in all competitions for Forest last term.
Responding to social media reports linking the player with his return loan to Forest, which also claimed United will stave off permanent interest from Everton and Leeds this summer, agent Beck said: "That's good information. I'll let Jimmy know what the plan is for him next season..."
