James Corden mocks Will Smith's Oscars slap and applauds Chris Rock's 'steel jaw'

Will Smith Chris Rock James Corden Jada Pinkett Smith Graham Norton AJ Odudu

James Corden is the latest star to share his thoughts on the Will Smith Oscars slap that sent shockwaves around the globe. During his Late Late Show on American television channel CBS the Carpool Karaoke host seemingly sided with Chris Rock and said Smith "can't take a joke".

Corden made reference to the shocking incident via a parody of the song We Don’t Talk About Bruno from the Disney film Encanto. Following the comedy performance he told viewers: "Seriously though, I applaud Chris Rock for recovering, keeping the show moving.

"It was an incredibly dignified response. I'll say this, Will Smith can't take a joke, Chris Rock can take a punch. A steel jaw. Unbelievable."
