
Foreign Secretary James Cleverly summoned Iran’s most senior diplomat to Britain on Monday to stress that the Government would not tolerate “threats to life and media freedoms”.
The Iranian charge d’affaires Mehdi Hosseini Matin was called to the Foreign Office for a frank warning by its Director General for the Middle East, Vijay Rangarajan.
