James 'Arg' Argent, who found fame on The Only Way is Essex, has talked to Lorraine about how he feels following his gastric bypass procedure. The reality TV star, 34, has lost 14 stone and cut a slim figure as he appeared on the ITV morning show.
Argent told Lorraine: "I feel great" after the presenter said that he looks like two different people. Seeing two photos of himself, before and after, he added: "Initially when you get the operation done, it’s a bit of a shock to the system. You go from binge-eating to only being on a little bit of food". Despite this, he said that it was "the best thing [he'd] ever done".
Lorraine, who was impressed by Argent's weight loss, compared him to him to characters from gangster film - Good Fellas. He was wearing an open blue shirt and light chinos and exuded confidence in his new shape. Argent even went as far to say that he "wished [he'd] done it sooner". The TOWIE star also said that although he has some excess skin from the operation, the damage is "minimal".
