James Argent spotted for first time since emergency ambulance call

James 'Arg' Argent was pictured for the first time since his pals called an ambulance for him.

The alarm was raised when the former TOWIE star did not answer his phone after suffering a 'blip in his recovery.'

On Saturday, he was seen at a local lake where he was pictured feeding some ducks.

The reality star seemed crestfallen as he held onto the Nando's paper bag filled with bread.

He kept it casual in light blue jeans, a navy puffer jacket and white trainers.

According to an insider, Arg has been feeling overwhelmed after receiving a huge amount of support from fans.

"James has been totally overwhelmed. Everyone has been so kind and caring and just want to make sure he’s ok," they told The Sun.

The source added: "It’s left him close to tears to see how nice people can be. Right now James is taking time out but he’s really grateful to everyone for their support.”

Arg's visit to the lake comes after an ambulance was called to his home.

The TV personality - who has lost an impressive 13 stone so far after having gastric surgery - has been honest about his struggles in the past, which include being hospitalised twice over drug overdoses.

Sources say the ex Towie cast member is "doing fine despite the scare" and did not require hospital treatment, as the insider admitted the "drastic changes to his lifestyle" have added pressures for him.

"James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough. Unfortunately, it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called," a source explained to The Sun.

"He is changing his number again and is now focusing on surrounding himself with the right people who support him in his new healthy lifestyle."

Arg has made a massive lifestyle change in the last year and began focusing on his diet and health.

He even underwent gastric band surgery and lost an impressive 13 stone.

Arg had the operation at the Transform Hospital Group at the private Burcot Hall Hospital near Birmingham, which cost £10,000.

The surgery means that he can now only eat small portion sizes and is unable to drink half an hour before or after eating.

He said that the surgery had a huge "mental effect" on him as he lost the cravings for fast food he once had.
