James Argent looks happy and healthy in reunion with BFF Mark Wright after rehab stint

James Argent has emerged radiating health and happiness following his recent rehab stint as he continues to conquer his demons.

The former TOWIE star has been snapped beaming alongside his best friend and fellow reality telly favourite Mark Wright.

The 34-year-old has bravely opened up about his battles with addiction and how he's struggled with his fluctuating weight. And his best friend Mark has been right alongside him, supporting his pal every step of the way.

The pair were pictured with their arms around one another as they shared a joke in The Star of Bethnal Green pub in east London.

James posted the happy snap on his Instagram, along with a heartfelt caption, showing his appreciation for his long-time friend.

“I get by with a little help from my friends #Marg” he wrote, poking fun at their bromance with the hashtag before adding hug and heart emojis.

He oozed confidence as he showed off his slimmed-down frame in a grey sweatshirt emblazoned with a purple outline of the Rolling Stones iconic tongue and lips logo.

Presenter and radio DJ Mark, 35, expressed his pride for Arg, commenting on the post: “My guy.”

Mark has been steadfast in his support for his pal as he battles a cocaine addiction, and is always at the end of the phone to help.

James is said to have visited a rehab unit in in Woodford, Essex, after allegedly "hitting a blip" in February during his ongoing recovery.

It was understood Arg didn’t check into the facility overnight - but visited daily.

The TV personality - who has lost an impressive 13 stone so far after having gastric surgery - has been honest about his struggles in the past, which include being hospitalised twice over drug overdoses.

He recently gave pals a scare and an ambulance was called to his home by concerned pals.

The Sun reported that worried friends rang emergency services when they couldn't get hold of James earlier in the month.

Medics apparently were able to treat the star and he is now focusing on his health and wellbeing.

Sources said the ex- TOWIE cast member was "doing fine despite the scare" and did not require hospital treatment, as the insider admitted the "drastic changes to his lifestyle" added pressures for him.

"James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough. Unfortunately, it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called," a source explained to the publication.

"He is changing his number again and is now focusing on surrounding himself with the right people who support him in his new healthy lifestyle."

The insider said that James had done amazingly well in turning his life around but he had hit a brick wall, crashed and burnt and hit a low while working hard in the gym and out of it in his personal life.

They said he was taking some time to rest and get back to where he was in his recovery.
