James 'Arg' Argent is ready to find his leading lady in life after appearing in a Dirty Dancing reality series and bouncing back from a relapse.
The TOWIE star has fought a highly public battle with drug and alcohol before turning to food to control his cravings which resulted in him piling on the pounds.
But after having a gastric sleeve fitted he fought his way back to fitness only to suffer a disappointing set back when he relapsed last month.
And after seeking treatment, he's now comeback on E4 series The Real Dirty Dancing, which sees a host of famous faces recreate scenes from the iconic movie, Arg says he's ready to find his own 'Baby'.
Arg said: "I'm single, I'm the best I've ever felt on the outside so why not try and find some love now? Do you know what I mean? I don't have a clue what I'm looking for.
"I've only had two girlfriends in the past and they're both very different, so I don't really have a type."
And he hasn't ruled out seeking out an older woman after TV fave Anthea Turner caught his eye on the show.
"Who doesn't have a crush on Anthea Turner?" he said of the 61-year-old.
"When I found out she was doing the show with me, I thought, 'Oh wow, that's really cool', because she really is a TV legend."
Arg added: "I remember as a kid being at home, watching her on Blue Peter, always thinking how beautiful and glamorous she was.
"She always looked a million dollars. She was really cool with her dance routines, and she was really enthusiastic. "She's got something special about her."
James, 34, stars alongside fellow celebrities such as Blue singer Lee Ryan, celebrity quizzer Bobby Seagull, 38, and comic Darren Harriott, 33.
Quizzed about whether he can see how the Strictly 'curse' can happened, James admitted he could easily see how "things escalate".
"Oh, for sure," the reality TV veteran replied to new! magazine.
"Especially if you fancy your partner and you're bumping and grinding and all that. You can definitely see how things escalate."
But despite having a spark with Anthea he is actually partnered with Verona Rose on the new E4 show.
The actress and writer said she "felt bad" about being teamed up with the Essex star due to his obvious desire to be with Anthea.
