The 2023 NFL draft is now only a week away, and one of the more scrutinized prospects over the past month has been Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud. There have been reports that the Houston Texans are not sold on him if he does not go first overall to the Carolina Panthers, and former Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn weighed in on the matter. This has resulted in a ton of negative feedback, most vocally from analyst Ryan Clark and Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
After Quinn stated that Stroud had committed to and no-showed the Manning Passing Academy, both Clark and Ramsey clashed with the Notre Dame alum. Ramsey a bit stronger with his words, however, had this to say back to Quinn:
“Fake story! [Trying to break] a kid down before the draft is lame, especially for not going to a camp that I’m sure he wasn’t getting paid for & instead working with his teammates! Plus [Quinn], you [were] a bust, shut up! You [should have] went to a passing academy or 2!”
