Jalen Brunson will become the first New York Knicks player ever to host 'Saturday Night Live' when he hosts the Season 52 premiere on 26 September, NBC has confirmed, just over three months after ending the franchise's 53-year title drought.

Newly crowned NBA champion Brunson, 30, will be joined on the night by girl group KATSEYE, who will serve as the episode's musical guest.
