Jake Quickenden plans to try for another baby on honeymoon as he hopes for 'big family'

Jake Quickenden has revealed plans for he and new wife Sophie Church to have another baby on their honeymoon.

Former The X Factor star Jake, 34, and Sophie wed in a stunning Ibiza ceremony in September and already share son Leo, who was born in April last year.

Jake is also a proud step dad to Sophie's son Freddie, from a previous relationship.

In a few weeks the pair are planning to jet off to the Maldives without their children to celebrate their nuptials – and Jake has exclusively revealed the couple are hoping to 'make another baby' on the romantic trip.

An excited Jake spilled his plans to the Mirror at Tulley's Farm's Shocktober Fest press night and revealed hopes to have a 'big family' someday.

When asked about how he's finding married life, Jake joked: "Nothing's changed. She still doesn't listen to me, which is great."

Newlywed Jake added: "Honestly, we are best mates anyway it's not changed anything. We've kind of finished the wedding and gone straight back into work and stuff like that so we haven't really had time to enjoy it yet.

"But, we go on our honeymoon in November so that's when we've got a bit of time to process it all and enjoy it and maybe make another baby. There's definitely going to be more on the table, definitely."

The former X Factor star gushed: "We're both quite family orientated so we want a big family. So I just want the Christmases with us all sat opening presents and sat in front of the TV and stuff like that.

"I think I've changed a hell of a lot over the years. I'm just a family man now and I love it."

Speaking of the trip, Jake said: "We're only doing a week. We're doing eight days because we don't want to be away for too long. We're not going to take the little ones it's not really a holiday for the little ones – my mum's gonna have them.

"We didn't want to be away for too long, I was like: 'Two weeks is too long to be away from Leo and Fred' so we're doing eight days. It'll be perfect.

"There's not much to do in the Maldives I've heard so I think it's a lot of sunbathing and chilling. I'm not really a chiller so we'll see how it goes – bit of snorkelling, swim with sharks a bit of that."

Jake and Sophie tied the knot in front of friends and family at a stunning ceremony in a villa in Ibiza in September.

As he posted photos from the special day on Instagram, Jake gushed: "Yesterday was a movie…. Mr and Mrs Quickenden

"can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. Amazing people, incredible food, loads of partying, lots of laughs & memories to last a lifetime."
